Geografia e Storia di Venezia. Questa è l'animazione dell'evolversi Territoriale della Serenissima, la Repubblica di Venezia, la Repubblica che più a lungo di ogni altra si è intrattenuta con la Storia dell'Uomo.
Il ritmo dell'animazione è proporzionale a quello reale delle vicende territoriali nella Storia del Dominio di Venezia, in ragione di circa un cinquantesimo di secondo per ciascun anno trascorso.

Ho realizzato anche una versione dove il ritmo temporale delle immagini non è proporzionale alla reale Storia di Venezia, nel quale meglio si possono osservare tutti i mutamenti territoriali, la trovate qui. Ho realizzato anche una versione molto più lenta in ragione di un secondo per ogni dieci anni, reperibile qui.
Sono appassionato di storia, lingue e geografia. questa mappa la stavo preparando da un bel po' di tempo, perchè sentivo che mancava un'immagine comprensiva di cosi tanta storia in modo più intuitivo.
È stato un po' un lavoraccio di ricerca, risalendo i 13 Secoli della Storia di Venezia, ma ne sono molto contento.

I keen about History, Languages and Geography. I have been wandering since a lot, looking for satisfaction in the the need of an image expressed in an intutitive mannor, able indeed to be inclusive of such an History.
It has been quite a job in research, revisiting the 13 Centuries of the History of Venice, but I am satisfied with its result.
